How accurate are the practice tests compared to the real TOEFL iBT?
Our mock exams follow the task types and section totals ETS publishes for the format introduced in January 2026: Reading (50 items, about 30 min), Listening (47 items, about 29 min), Writing (12 items, about 23 min) and Speaking (11 tasks, about 8 min), scored on the 1–6 band scale. The real test is adaptive and ours is not, so the difficulty does not adjust as you answer. We are not affiliated with ETS, the questions are written by us, and scoring is an estimate for self-assessment only — it is not equivalent to an official ETS score.

What score do I need on the TOEFL iBT to get into a university?
Requirements vary by institution. On the legacy 0–120 scale most universities in the US and UK asked for 80–100, with top programs often requiring 100–110 — roughly bands 4.5 to 5.5 on the 1–6 scale introduced in January 2026. How long does it take to prepare for the TOEFL?
